Training in the workplace has been changing over the past several years. Companies have been providing required training for their current employees to develop the level of skill needed for the job rather than searching for new employees.

On the job training for employees provides for greater job security. Companies have found that workplace training improves the productivity of the employee and they work harder to assure the company overcomes economic effects of unexpected challenges and problems.

Technology has been increasing paces over the recent past which also increases the need to provide employee training to keep pace in our high tech environment. Companies which are keeping on track with the technological advancements are some of the most successful companies.
