Q: What is Askvisory?
A: Askvisory is a marketplace for professional knowledge. It enables members to connect with experts to get insights and answers by phone. To enable this, Askvisory provides all the technology ‘bits’ such as the conference call, the searching of profiles and billing to make this process easy for those seeking or providing advice.
Q: How does it work?
A: Askvisory works for both those seeking advice and those that can provide it. Leading organisations, other members and investors are continually looking for information. Getting insights and answers directly from professionals is the revolution we want you to be part of. For more details on how it works, please visit www.askvisory.com/how.
Q: How could this effect my employment?
A: Askvisory should not affect your current employment at your current job as the advice that you provide is purely based on your professional opinion and should not represent in shape or form – an opinion of your employer. Our terms and conditions serves to protect you as an advisor and as a client when seeking advice.
Q: How does Askvisory protect my privacy?
A: Askvisory aims to provide an information sharing platform where knowledge is the key service that is being exchanged. For this reason, advisors do not need to reveal their names or personal details. Askvisory securely masks any personal details such as your email address, phone number or address details.
Phone calls mask telephone numbers. Our internal messaging system (similar to Linkedin, Facebook etc.) masks your email address.
Askvisory will not sell or share your information with any third-party.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: Askvisory pays advisors through PayPal electronically. After a telephone consultation or completion of a project, within 1 day you will receive payment into your designated PayPal account. If you do not have a PayPal account, Askvisory will provide you a link and support in obtaining a free PayPal account.
Q: How much does Askvisory charge?
A: There is no fee for using the service as even the calls are paid for by Askvisory. As a client, you simply pay the advisor the price listed on their profile. As an advisor, Askvisory does not deduct any charges from you e.g. If you declare your rate is $50 an hour, Askvisory will pay you $50 an hour. Askvisory variably marks-up the advisor rate based on industry between 15-35% to charge clients one single price.
Clients are charged by the minute for telephone consultations. There are no minimum or maximum payments.
Q: Am I able to leave the network?
A: On occasion, we do find members wishing to leave The Panel. To leave the Panel, simply delete all details within your profile to ensure no details are kept on our system. Members have complete control of their data. As a further measure to protect your privacy, the only detail that we do hold, is your username to avoid any other registration to re-use or represent you in any capacity.
Q: What happens if the phone disconnects during a phone consultation?
A: If the call drops or is less than 30 seconds, Askvisory will attempt to reconnect the call up to three times. Clients are not charged for dropped / error calls. You can also login to your dashboard, go to the call record and then click the redial button within the same hour of the scheduled call.
